Dolce and Gabbana land in Sicily: expected fashion show in Syracuse and Marzamemi

The mostcool of the Sicilian summer, until last week top secret among various rumors, has been confirmed by the arrival in the Syracuse harbor of the Italian designers’ super yacht.

Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana, owners of one of the world’s most famous fashion brands, chose Syracuse as the location for their fashion show, with a foray even into the beautiful
Marzamemi
.

The places eyed would seem to be the island of Ortigia e  Piazza del Duomo, the archaeological area of the Neapolis of Syracuse, but also the seaside areas of the Minaret and of Fontane Bianche. Just in the latter place, the concert of the international artist is sure for many. Jennifer Lopez, accompanied of course by the inseparable Ben Affleck.

Other events will take place in Marzamemi, in the Pachino area. Dates? Between the seven and the eleventh of July, this at least can be leaked by the well-informed even though there are very few leaks at the moment. One thing is certain: Sicily once again stars and inspires high fashion.

Among the parade of VIPs expected to accompany the Sicilian nights, in addition to the aforementioned Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, sure for many is the presence of Monica Bellucci (very attached to Syracuse, playing Malena in Giuseppe Tornatore’s film) and also the U.S. singer Beyoncé. Over six hundred and fifty guests are expected to be in attendance, including stars and starlets from the fashion world, accredited journalists from the Italian and foreign press, and above all, high fashion professionals.

Everything pink and flowery? Absolutely not. Restaurateurs and bars will be closed for the event and are obviously on the warpath over the city ordinance that precludes the possibility of being able to make a revenue that has not been seen in a long time. However, they will be compensated by the very fashion house that does not want to draw enmity toward itself.

All lived happily ever after then, waiting for the Dolce and Gabbana-branded 2022 Sicilian summer event to begin.
