CasaCiomod welcomes visitors through cocoa-flavored laboratories to learn about Modica IGP chocolate and its qualities.
Each educational tour is divided into two parts: the theoretical first part, in which the origins of chocolate are explained, the history and qualities that distinguish Modica IGP chocolate, and the nutritious properties of this food.
After learning about the basic ingredients required to manufacture chocolate and witnessing the many phases of processing, guests may get their hands in dough and create their own unique tablet with a sac à poche of melted chocolate, spices, and grains to personalise the chocolate.
