Music and theater: BluebeardFest in Morgantina
Concerts, meetings, theatrical performances: the BluebeardFest animates the archaeological area of Morgantina. Until Sept. 4, at the Ancient Theater of Morgantina, Aidone (En), it will be possible to enjoy performances, from 7:30 p.m., and concerts, from 8 p.m.
An innovative festival that brings debate, theater and music to a location rich in history and authenticity and named after one of the most important artifacts returned to Sicily, the Head of Hades (stolen, found at the Getty Museum in Malibu and returned to its place of origin) and called in popular parlance “Blue Beard” precisely because of its physical connotations.
The event was produced and organized by Andrea Peria’s Terzo Millennio and supported by the Regional Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity.
