St. Sebastian and the nativity scenes in Acireale
How to best end the Christmas vacation? With an event that connects faith, tradition and art. In Acireale from Wednesday, Jan. 19 to Sunday, Jan. 30, it will be possible to participate in“St. Sebastian and the Nativity Scenes”at the Raciti Palace, an exhibition dedicated to the saint with Neapolitan and Apulian cribs in the 19th-century palace.
Specifically, this will take place during the eve, day and octave of St. Sebastian and the last two Sundays of the current month. The exhibition was made possible thanks to the contribution of the Fercoli Association of the San Sebastiano Acireale Devotion. In addition, during the event, it will be possible to visit the panoramic terrace of Raciti Palace that houses the exhibitions.
Part of the entrance fee will be donated to theStoà Sicula Association and the Fercoli of Devotion, both of which are committed to keeping local traditions alive.
