We can safely say that it is one of most people’s favorite Sicilian desserts. Which one? We are talking about the cannolo, appreciated by the most purist in its classic version, by the most imaginative in its many variations. And on Sunday, March 6, it will be possible to participate, starting in the morning, in a walk of about 10 km, in the province of Trapani, organized by Atlantis Geo Trek.
The “Cannoli Triangle” is a tour that will take participants around the Trapani countryside, alternating between nature and sweet tastings. Specifically, over the course of the walk there will be breathtaking views from a vantage point of the Egadi Islands and the salt pans of Trapani. But also the Trapani countryside, rich in vines, and the Ericino countryside, characterized by olive trees. They will also pass through the towns of Dattilo and Fulgatore, where cannolo tastings will take place , as well as in Napola, the starting and finishing points. Everyone will be invited to grasp the differences between the three proposals, with the help of the guide, as they discover local stories and traditions.
The rally is scheduled to take place in Alessandro Bonaventura Square in Napola, municipality of Erice, at 9:30 a.m.
