‘Week of Cultures’ returns to Palermo
More than 100 events, including performances, tours and exhibitions, will enliven Palermo for a week, starting April 30 and running through May 8. Back with its 11th edition is the Week of Cultures, with a special significance this year of rebirth and restart.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Capaci and Via D’Amelio massacres, there will be two initiatives related to their memory: “Carion. 30 years since the massacres,” cunto by Salvo Piparo (Friday, May 6 at 9 p.m., at San Mattia ai Crociferi), and the PalermoCoroPop concert “Ogni scagghia teni ‘na muragghia” (Sunday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m., at La casa dei Sogni).
