Pedaling to discover Erice
An original idea to explore Erice from another point of view. Beginning April 10 through October 23, a bicycle ride to this ancient and romantic village takes place every Sunday.
The meeting point is at 9:30 a.m. at the Trapani train station, from which we will drive to the town, following an off-road road. From there, the tuor into the heart of Erice itself begins. Passing through Porta Trapani, one comes across the Cathedral, and then launches into the narrow streets among churches, clubs, palaces, and squares until reaching the Castle of Venus. A visit to Grammatico’s pastry shop, one of the oldest and most popular, is planned at the end.
