MarkArt at Villa Pacini
Scie Eventi’s MarkArt returns with its second edition, June 1-5, and enlivens the beautiful Villa Pacini, a short walk from Catania Cathedral. The perfect event for lovers of crafts, made in Sicily and creativity, which also combines street art, educational workshops for children, musical performances, DJ sets, food & drink area.
“We had the desire to hold, again this year, our flagship event in this very historic and wonderful place in the city, which unfortunately has long been a victim of incivility and vandalism.
We are proud of the work done so far because it is also thanks to us that Villa Pacini is finally returning to dignity. In fact, since the last MarkArt Villa Pacini has undergone a succession of improvements thanks to the efforts of the City of Catania, which, like us, cares about this place. Today the Villa enjoys an inclusive playground for children, a beautiful working fountain, and ongoing garden maintenance. The intent of our organization has always been to enhance the historic streets of the city and some ‘special places,’ such as Villa Pacini, little visited by Catanese and tourists. We hope that this event of ours will become not only an attraction for Villa Pacini for a few days but a way for Catanese and non-Catanese alike to rediscover it in its full splendor.”
