Festival of stone theaters
Three traveling works at five different sites. We are talking about the “Lyrical Festival of Stone Theaters,” which will be staged in Milazzo, Agrigento, Trapani, Syracuse and Caltanissetta.
The first,“PPP – Present, Past Pasolini,” a dance, theater and music project that talks about the need for profound change in different areas through the point of view of poet and intellectual Pasolini.
The second work, “Ajax’s Dream,” which depicts the story of the Greek hero told by a woman’s voice, as if it were a projection, a mirage.
Finally, Plautus’s “Menecmi,” which tells the story of twins separated at birth who meet again in later life. Identical physically, opposites character-wise, they give rise to a series of ambiguities between friends and relatives.
