Gratteri Ancient Music Festival
On September 2,3,4 the Gratteri Ancient Music Festival returns for the 16th edition. An all-you-can-eat event that combines ancient music with Mediterranean timbre. The The event will be held in the ancient village of the Madonie Mountains and is the result of a collaboration between the MusicaMente association of Palermo and the municipality of Gratteri, the Mibact and the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Sicilian Region.
During the evenings there will be 4 concerts from 9 pm at Monument Square – Gratteri (PA).
Here are some previews
- On Sept. 2, it will be the Spanish duo Eva Febrer on violin and Tomeu Segui on harpsichord that will thrill the audience.
- September 3 will be Sea-themed, with the project “Voices of the Mediterranean. M’è dolce naufragar in questo mare” by Mario Crispi, founding musician of Agricantus, and singer Debora Troìa.
- On Sept. 4, the final evening, “Correspondences,” the new project of the founding duo of Arianna Art Ensemble (Paolo Rigano and Cinzia Guarino), will be held.
