Bronte Pistachio Festival returns
Back with its 30th edition is the Pistachio Festival in Bronte. An event full of traditions and flavors that, in addition to enlivening the weekend from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, will also be held from Oct. 7 to 9.
It features the green pistachio, the symbol par excellence of the city of Bronte and all of Sicily as a “Slow food presidium” with a protected designation of origin (PDO).
During the pistachio festival, there will not only be culinary experiences, but also dance performances, folk groups and shows in the full scope of Sicilian tradition.
There will also be fun opportunities for younger children through animation and juggling shows.
In addition, music by the Luna Rossa orchestra, the group “I Cantustrittu” and the “Vulcanica Brass Ensemble” will enrich the evening.
