Goblets of Stars in Sicily: full glasses and looks
Until August 15, excellent wines can be tasted in Sicily, as in the rest of Italy, by starlight. Goblets of Stars is a summer event designed by the Wine Tourism Movement and from theNational Wine Cities Association, which gives the opportunity to taste excellent wines, including typical ones, in extraordinary and picturesque settings, in safety.
Villages, squares, vineyards, fields: the territories come alive at night to offer a unique and local experience, in which the passion for good drinking combines with the pleasure of participating in shows, exhibitions, and performances. On the night of St. Lawrence, Aug. 10, as many as 200 wineries will host newcomers, the curious, and enthusiasts for an evening full of flavors-with Doc, organic, Igt, or hard-to-find vintages-and desires expressed with their noses turned up.
