The Pin Up Circus in Ortigia for adults and children
From Aug. 19 to 22 in Ortigia, from 6 p.m. to midnight, “Pin up Circus ,” a summer event dedicated to restarting, will enliven Ortigia .
Music, costumes, and vintage cars and motorcycles reminiscent of the 1950s replace the classic circus performers. In addition to entertainment, a stage was set up in Lake Arethusa for live music, with a space for children’s workshops, workshops on ancient crafts and tastings of typical products.
The City Fleas will also be present with their events highlighting local Sicilian handicrafts.
The purpose of the four days is to create fun and lighthearted moments with an eye toward local traditions to be preserved and spread.
