Fishtuna Festival returns to Favignana
Slow tourism, gastronomy, culture and sustainability: these are the key words of the Fishtuna Festival in Favignana. From September 1 to 5, the event dedicated to sustainable bluefin tuna fishing and the tradition surrounding this practice, not only from a culinary point of view, returns.
In fact, the event focuses on four key aspects: the agribusiness, alongside art, tourism and sustainability.
The Egadi Islands, therefore, will host meetings, tours, presentations, cooking shows, as well as sports, hiking, diving, entertainment and concerts for itineraries capable of stimulating all the senses and carrying forward the principle of ”slow tourism,” which is also the founding value of the Magna Sicilia network.
The festival was realized with the support of the departments of Fisheries, Tourism, Sports and Entertainment and Cultural Heritage of the Sicilian Region and the municipality of Favignana.
