Week of Cultures in Palermo
Exhibitions, music and theater: from Sept. 25 to Oct. 3, 120 events in Palermo. Back in Presence The Week of Cultures with its 10th edition, following last year’s digital version. A week of demonstrations, meetings and events concerning the city, culture, communities, art, entertainment and music. Several exhibits will also be on view during these days.
This year’s edition is dedicated, in particular, to Afghan women and the struggle they are silently fighting for their rights. A symbolic photo of Tullio’s luck of a veiled woman will be displayed at Palazzo Oneto in Sperlinga for this purpose.
As many as 120 events are scheduled, including exhibitions, concerts, cultural reviews, theater performances, book presentations, lectures, walks, as well as initiatives for children. All involving both well-known places in and around Palermo and lesser-known but extremely impressive places. The latter include the aforementioned Oneto Palace in Sperlinga, the great Cuba, and the Oratory of the Whites.
The doors of Villa Zito and Palazzo Branciforte will also be open for several exhibitions.
A week full of insights and opportunities to immerse yourself in culture, in all its forms.
