Festival of “Creative Market Artieri,” in Catania
From Dec. 17 to 24, Artieri Mercato Creativo makes a stop in Catania at Villa del Grafo, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. This festival, Sicily’s first Arts and Crafts Festival, allows artists and artisans to display unique pieces in limited editions. In total, there will be 30 of them and they will come from all over Italy.
From painting to ceramics, from origami to music, from engraving to sewing: multiple workshops for young and old to participate in. Several events will be held in collaboration with important entities in the Catania area. As in the case of the Naples Brothers Puppetry and the Areasud and Artea associations.
Performances, meetings, talks, and book presentations will also take place over the course of these days. All with the aim of popularizing traditions, the culture of ancient knowledge, and also respect for the environment.
