Terre Sicane Wine Fest returns: Sicily kicks off again in full wine mode
July 29-31 in Contessa Entellina event dedicated to Sicilian wines and flavors of Belice will take place. Tasting booths, master classes and itineraries for a three-day event of delicacies, music and events.
The event: the place and date
The location is one of the most beautiful in the Western Sicily, namely the medieval cloister of theSanta Maria del Bosco Abbey. We are located in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and precisely in Contessa Entellina in the province of Palermo. From July 29 to 31, the Terre Sicane Wine fest the food and wine event that spans wine events, musical entertainment and connections. In addition, starting this year it leads to a direct synergy with the Wine Road and the Flavors of Trentino.
“A twinning between vocated areas, different but united by the uniqueness of the territories both of great wine tourism beauty – says Michele Buscemi, president of the “Enonauti” Association. We will taste wines from native grape varieties, small appellations and great classics that are expressions of local communities and traditions.” With more than 108 references for tasting, the Sican wine festival will succeed in bringing the flavors of the magnificent Belice Valley to the national spotlight.
The program

Among events, music and seminars, there will also be an award ceremony for the best Terre Sicane wine for Nero d’Avola and Grillo types along with a special “Pleasantness and Originality Award.” For winelovers there will be an opportunity to attend some seminars that can enrich the knowledge of the so-called “nectar of the gods” and deal with new and unique experiences. The tasting and opening of the tasting tables will be present throughout the event and will intersect with some workshops on Sicilian and Trentino wines, but also with masterclasses presented to knowledgeable journalists in the field such as Luigi Salvo and Valeria Lopis. On July 30, the Terre Sicane Wine Fest will also host a leg of the “Blues and Wine Soul Festival,” with a jazz session by Joe Castellano, an artist who has collaborated with several international artists.
